Dear Auckland (bunch 3)

Dear Auckland,

I love a zoo.

You have a GREAT zoo.

As such, things went really well when the sun finally came out and we got to go on a zoo field trip. For the majority of the day, we had everything to ourselves. We got through almost all of the animals, just up to the red pandas until the kids started pouring. Apparently it was everyone’s field trip day.

Even with all of the beautiful animals and the long-awaited sunshine, the highlight of the day was meeting up with Burma, the Asian elephant, on her daily walk around the zoo. Burma wins hands down for my favorite pose of the day!

Are you a zoo person? Maybe aquariums are more your thing? Visited any recently that have out-done the rest?

xx Katie
