I took Fitzgerald very literally this fall, what with moving in with my boyfriend and starting all over in terms of home decor. This means that I’m knee deep in the antithesis of spring cleaning. I’m in the midst of “fall gathering.”
“Fall gathering” accurately sums up the last two weeks. We have been gathering new furniture and decorations and drill bits and paint supplies and kitchen gadgets and anything else you could possibly think of when you think of putting together a home.
We are putting together a home!
That is so crazy and so exciting. I cannot wait to show you around, but it’s taking way way way more effort than we anticipated to get all the details in place. So, in the meantime, here are some before shots, some “blank canvas” shots, for you to mull over while I get things ready for you.
How long did it take for you to make your house a home?
entryway and chalkboard wall
sort of view into the kitchen from the living room
living room and stairs to the loft (view from the entryway/chalkboard wall)
bedroom door and under-the-stairs space
