Bloggers who Brunch

Dear Friend,

What’s better than brunch? Brunching with lovely bloggers, that’s what!

My favorite thing about getting together with bloggers, after of course the getting together part, is that I can take pictures of anything I want at any time. Normally I feel ridiculous pulling out my camera, but with theses ladies it is highly encouraged to snap photos, which I’m hoping will eventually make me a better photographer.

So, the brunch…

Kelly of A Side of Sweet hosted the most beautiful garden brunch on the most ideal fall day. Kelly is a fantastic overachiever, who in her downtime from being a pediatrician does amazing things like snatch full sets of china and concoct signature cocktails, which of course sets her up to be the perfect hostess. For the event she printed and embossed individual menus for each place setting, bruléed each of our greek yogurts, and baked a sweet potato galette. Kelly also enlisted the help of the incredible ladies at Esselle, who provided the finishing touches of the tablescape – the gold striped napkins, the set of coasters, and the vases of the centerpiece.

Everything was beautiful and delicious, which only made the wonderful company around the table that much better. To put it simply, if I had the opportunity to brunch like this every day, I would jump at it! But for the sake of my waistline, it’s probably for the best that brunch is a special occasion.

Is there a meal that you and your friends consistently share?

xx Katie
